Mid-level Sales Development Representative

In this role you are truly the “face” of the company. When a potential client learns about Clever Markets for the first time, they will associate the company primarily with the experience you provide them with.

That is why it is imperative the person in this role embodies our values – ownership & responsibility, doing the right thing, and coachability. As a Sales Development Representative, you are the first touchpoint for any lead. When you introduce them to our services, you have the opportunity to leave each person better than you found them.

You will reach out to senior energy traders and managers via phone and online. You will qualify if they would benefit from our services through a personal 1-on-1 conversation and set a time for the next meeting with our team. You will nurture them as they go through our discovery and qualification process. This is a relational role, not transactional.

To be a successful Sales Development Representative, one must excel at cold outreach, handling initial objections, solve problems on the spot and communicate kindly with leads and teammates.

You are required to build out a pipeline from scratch, hunt for leads and leverage outreach tools like Instantly and Apollo. This is a hunter role.
