    I'm new to investing, and I'm still confused about what these phrases mean. Please explain. Providing some examples would be great too. Thanks!

    1) "MMs still need to cover..." (what does cover mean?)
    2) "There's still lot of shorting going on.." (what is shorting, and how does it affect the stock?)
    3) "Many gaps still need to be filled..." (what do gaps refer to? does filling mean selling or buying? who will be filling? what happens after gaps are filled)?
