    Can anyone tell me why ex-dividend date is after pay date? it is really confusing me

    Ex-divy date was 12/12, that is wrong, look at the gap down on the chart......

    It was a mistake nasdaq made and caused the market dropped. The news on 12/12 ex-div on nasdaq is long gone
